How to Style a Bar Cart
One of my first purchases before I moved in to the Little Chateau was a bar cart. I made it one of my inspiration pieces in my apartment and entirely centered my living room decor around it. Bar carts can be used to display whatever decor you may desire, not just liquor (although, that’s quite okay too!).
My bar cart displays white Oreo cookies in jars, a candle, books and small decor, but I have seen bloggers use it as a coffee cart in their kitchen with their Nespresso machines, pods, coffee mugs, napkins, coasters, etc.
If you choose to go the liquor route, think: stirrers, cocktail shakers, ice buckets, tongs, jiggers, trays, mixology books, strainers, liquor- of course, matching glasses- champagne, wine, or old fashioned glasses.
A bar cart could also be used as an accessory display maybe in a bedroom or a spare room to showcase all of your jewelry, sunglasses, headbands, scrunchies, etc. Consider acrylic cases for all of your sunglasses, glass or brass trays to separate post earrings from drop earrings, then a glass necklace stand for your most worn necklaces and bracelets/bangles. I like to store away jewelry that I don’t wear often so that my go-tos are easy to access at all times. For my headbands I use utensil holders and hook the headbands over the side then I store all of my scrunchies on the inside of the holder.
The absolute essentials for any bar cart theme you decide to go with: books- for stacking and height, a plant or flowers, and a candle or two for highlighted illumination.
